Unfamiliar Walls

Tears blind my eyes
yet cannot blind my heart

Could this water have possibly seeped back
instead of pouring out
flooding my brain so I can no longer think

I just want you to be happy
to see that you aren't alone
but you turned your back on me

My eyes aren't the only ones
filled with unshed tears
you've had so many that it may be the reason
your eyes are the most beautiful blue I've ever seen

in between unfamiliar walls
